DMS CCTV Control Limited wants as many people as possible to be able to use this website. This statement explains how the website has been built, what does not yet work for everyone, and how to get help.
How this website is built
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. On this website you can:
- Reach every page, menu, carousel and video using a keyboard alone, with a clear outline showing where you are.
- Jump straight to the content with the "Skip to main content" link at the top of each page.
- Zoom in to 200% or more and use the website on a phone, tablet or desktop without text running off the screen.
- Read text that has strong colour contrast against its background.
- Pause the moving image banner and the client testimonials. They also stay still if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Hear a text description of each photo, logo and video through a screen reader.
What does not yet work for everyone
- The videos on this website do not have captions or audio description. Each one has a short text description of what it shows.
- The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps and can be difficult to use with a keyboard or screen reader. Our address and a link to directions are written out beside it.
- The clients poster on our About page is an image. The client names are listed in its text description.
